iLECSYS Rail attended the 2019 Princes Risborough Careers Day to introduce students to engineering.  Lewis Westbury and Alan Hickman talked the students through what projects which iLECSYS Rail get involved with and the work that they produce.

Alan also ensured the day had a practical element so that the students could get involved and work with some earth bars and spanners. The students completed a 60 minute workshop where we demonstrated some of the skills needed in engineering and the different roles in the sector.

The day aims to make students aware of the choices for their next steps and to inspire them academically and professionally.  Also to help the students to be able to make informed decisions when selecting their future careers.

The day was an enormous success for both the students and iLECSYS Rail and we hope to invite some of the students over to our head office in Princes Risborough in the future. It was really motivating for Lewis and Alan to be part of a careers day and meet the stars of the future.
