We have an in-house engineering design service at iLECSYS Rail, who have extensive knowledge and experience across the rail sector and work to our ethos of ‘safe by design’. Our design team have worked across a variety of projects and understand the complex requirements needed for innovative design solutions. We also have an experienced in-house engineering team to deliver project requirements, who work closely with our design team. 

We use Solidworks for the 3D design of parts and assemblies and for 2D drawing. All of our electrical designers use AutoCAD for the creation of schematics, providing an electrical design service and producing complex and comprehensive wiring diagrams. 

Solidworks allows for data collaboration with varied import and export facilities. The direct, model to 2D drawing, ensures that potential errors are eliminated as there is no re-drawing. We also use Solidworks PDM for data management, allowing for faster creation of new assemblies by re-using controlled CAD data.
